Before You Throw

Waiver & Safety Requirements

Please review these requirements before continuing to court reservations. Every guest who will enter an axe throwing court must have a valid waiver on file.

Required for every guest

Complete the waiver before arrival

Completing waivers ahead of time helps your group check in faster. A waiver is required for every participant and for anyone entering a restricted court area.

Complete the Waiver

Waivers remain valid for one year unless replaced or superseded.

Important requirements

  • Traditional axe throwing participants must be at least 13 years old.
  • Guests ages 13–17 must have a parent or legal guardian sign their waiver.
  • Closed-toe shoes are required for all axe throwing participants.
  • Every participant must complete the safety briefing before throwing.
  • Guests must follow all posted rules and staff instructions at all times.
  • Participants must be able to safely throw and retrieve an axe. Staff may direct guests to an alternative activity when needed.
  • Staff may restrict or end participation whenever continued play presents a safety concern, including concerns related to alcohol consumption.

What the waiver covers

Axe throwing involves inherent risks, including missed throws, rebounds, flying debris, equipment contact, slips, trips, and falls. The waiver includes an assumption of risk, release of liability, medical authorization, property-damage responsibility, and a media release. Read the complete agreement before signing.
